Jeff's Voyage ends at British shores

Significan’t director, Jeff McWhinney, arrived safely on British shores last week, having successfully completed his transatlantic voyage in just three weeks. Jeff had been selected by record breaker Gerry Hughes, who was involved in the OSTAR 2005 (Original Single-Handed Transatlantic Race), to accompany him and Mark Robertson on the return leg of his race. On July 4th, the three deaf men set off from Newport in their boat, the Quest II, spanning a mere 30 feet across. They encountered storms gales and intense fog. They arrived in Troon, Scotland on the 28th to an excited crowd of friends and family welcoming their return.
